That’s what many of our clients have told us at Allred & Johnson.  As the only real estate firm located right in Norris, we have seen the reaction that people have when they first visit our delightful small town. Most of them are simply amazed to discover that there is a place like this in the hills of East Tennessee. With our spacious, open green spaces, miles of sidewalks and trails and winding tree-lined streets, Norris truly seems like a community from another era…one where children could walk to school, neighbors actually know one another and the post office and grocery are within walking distance from almost every home.    Over the last five years, a great number of those people who were originally our clients are now our friends and neighbors.  In this group are retirees who had never even heard of Norris until their first visit in our office, as well as young families with children who were drawn here by the safe, secure feeling they found, the quality of our schools and the spirit of community that exists among those who live here. Of course, homes rarely come on the market in Norris since most arrivals end up staying for quite awhile.  Consequently, sometimes the actual inventory of homes for sale is limited.  But, just let us know what you are interested in, and chances are good that we will be able to help you.  At present, a few of the original Norris cottages are available, as well some larger homes in newer neighborhoods.  Also, we have some condos and waterfront properties listed.  If you are looking for a rental, either short or long-term, we may be able to help with that.
